About the Scenario

This is a basic fixed-force battlefield scenario designed to resemble the game Chess (view screenshots). Each player starts with 9 of each standard military unit (except heroes), and one king. The concept is simple: provide each player with a full, well-rounded military that is representative of every unit in the game, so that each player may focus on tactical strategy, without worrying about economic or other issues not of direct military importance. This scenario also provides a good way to compare each of the units, and practice (or showcase :-) one's generalship skills.

It is important to note that the villagers in this game can only build walls and towers (and nothing else). With palisade walls and towers it is now possible to spot-build front line defenses for your ranged units, to keep them on higher-ground and better manage battles on multiple fronts.
